A 527 Political Organization
The United Women's Cancer Committee PAC, an Initiative of the United Health PAC, is a non-party political organization(not a charity) established and regulated under section 527 of the tax code. Our goal is to advocate for women that have been diagnosed with cancer by contacting and informing voters of these needs and asking them to take action. No funds received by our organization will be given to any Candidate or used to directly support or oppose them. No funds will be given to any cancer patient or cancer organization directly as we are not a charity. We are strictly an issue advocacy political organization.
Dear Friends,
As someone who has witnessed the devastating impact of cancer up close, I am reaching out to urge you to take action and make your voice heard in the upcoming elections. Cancer does not discriminate—it affects people from all walks of life, regardless of age, race, or socioeconomic status. It is a relentless adversary that takes a profound toll on individuals, families, and communities.
We have an opportunity to make a significant difference by electing leaders who prioritize healthcare policies that support cancer research, treatment, and prevention. Voting is one of the most powerful tools we have to influence change and ensure that our government allocates the necessary resources to combat this disease.
Here are some critical issues that we need our leaders to address:
Increased Funding for Cancer Research: Breakthroughs in cancer treatment and prevention come from dedicated research. We need to support initiatives that provide substantial funding to research institutions and clinical trials that seek to find cures and improve existing treatments.
Access to Affordable Healthcare: No one should have to choose between financial stability and life-saving treatment. Policies that ensure affordable and accessible healthcare for all are crucial in the fight against cancer.
Patient Support Services: Cancer patients and their families need comprehensive support services, including mental health resources, financial assistance, and palliative care. Our leaders must advocate for policies that provide these essential services.
Prevention and Early Detection: Education and awareness campaigns about cancer prevention and early detection can save lives. We need policies that promote regular screenings, vaccinations, and healthy lifestyle choices to reduce cancer risk.
By voting for leaders who are committed to these issues, we can create a future where fewer people suffer the pain and loss that cancer brings. Your vote can help shape policies that will save lives and provide hope to millions of people.
Please, take the time to research the candidates and their stances on healthcare and cancer-related issues. Make an informed decision and cast your vote for those who will champion the fight against cancer.
Thank you for your attention and your commitment to making a difference. Together, we can turn the tide against cancer and build a healthier, more hopeful future for all.
Sincerely, Bill Davis
Did you know that an estimated 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the United States this year alone? That's 1.9 million individuals and countless families facing the fear and uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
But together, we can make a difference.
As a 527 Political Organization we advocate for women that have been diagnosed with cancer by informing voters of these needs and asking them to take action. This is our only purpose, we do not give money or financial support to any person or cancer organization as we are not a charity. We also do not in any way give money or directly coordinate with any candidates or elected officials as that would be a violation of federal law based on our 527 status. Any contribution to our organization is not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. A large portion of proceeds received by our organization are used to defray the costs of fundraising which include but are not limited to telemarketing, printing, postage, etc...
